Reef Experience: All-Inclusive Outer Reef Day Trip

Overview

Every reef trip has a price, and then a second price made of add-ons. Reef Experience runs it differently: one booking covers the lot, including something almost nobody else gives away, a free scuba dive, subject to medical clearance, even if you've never breathed underwater in your life. The day starts with bacon-and-egg rolls as you clear the harbour, and the food keeps coming: chef-prepared lunch from locally sourced produce, afternoon tea, wine and biscuits on the way home, dietaries sorted if you flag them at booking. Between meals you're in the water, all snorkel and scuba gear included, with an interactive marine biology presentation from the onboard expert as you cruise to your first site. Even the Marine Park reef tax is in the price. It's an 18–39 crowd, so the boat has a social pulse. Only extra: a $10 fuel levy paid onboard.
