Uluru, Kata Tjuta & Kings Canyon Heli Safari

Overview

The Red Centre's three headline acts are hundreds of road-kilometres apart, or about two hours of flying. The 'One with the Lot' does exactly what the name promises: Uluru, Kata Tjuta and Kings Canyon in a single helicopter safari, with the Central Australian Desert and the salt shimmer of Lake Amadeus rolling past between them. The day runs about four and a half hours all up. You're collected from your Ayers Rock Resort hotel by air-conditioned van, fly out across the desert, and land at Kings Canyon Resort for a guided 45-to-60-minute walk along the Kings Creek bed before the return flight to Yulara. Pilot commentary and photography tips run through the headsets the whole way. It's a maximum of five passengers, departing daily 8am–4pm year-round, weather permitting. Bring water and snacks (lunch isn't included), plus your Watarrka park pass. This is the Red Centre without the road time.
