It opens at Pindarie's multi-award-winning cellar door in Gomersal, morning tea, wine tastings and one of the region's great views. Free time on Tanunda's main street follows, then Mengler Hill Lookout serves the full Barossa panorama before the centrepiece: a gourmet two-course lunch with structured wine tasting at Lambert Estate in Angaston, where the food and the pours are built for each other. A guided tour and tasting at the grand Chateau Tanunda adds the history, and Maggie Beer's Farm Shop closes the day, leave luggage space for the pantry raid.
