Overview

People drive for hours to see the Great Ocean Road from designated lookouts. You're going to see the whole thing at once, from 15,000 feet, falling towards it at terminal velocity, which is emphatically not a designated lookout. This is a tandem beach skydive over one of the most photographed coastlines on Earth: the climb to altitude doubles as a scenic flight, then the door opens and you get up to 60 seconds of pure freefall with the surf coast unrolling beneath you before the canopy ride brings it all into slow motion. It's the ultimate heart-pounder on a road famous for making people pull over and stare. The package includes a three-month Australian Parachute Federation membership and a personalised certificate of achievement, video and photos are available on the day, and for this particular backdrop they earn their keep. The experience to trump all experiences, as the locals put it. They're not wrong.

"When you jump down, the moment of free fall comes, oh my God! It's so cool! The howling wind wrinkled my face (a little ugly), but the view from the top was really beautiful…!"
