Overview

Abel Tasman is New Zealand's sunniest corner, golden beaches, granite headlands, water in unreasonable shades of green, and the best way through it is at paddle height. The Two Day Classic gives you exactly that, with the logistics stripped out: fully catered, fully equipped, guided the whole way. You travel by stable double sea kayak, with your Abel Tasman Kayaks guide leading the route and then cooking every meal. Nights are spent at a beachside campsite with two-person tents, inflatable mattresses and sleeping bags if you need them, plus dry bags for your camera, spray skirts, paddle jackets and filtered water.
