Summertime has been sailing longer than most of her passengers' parents have been alive, a 70-year-old ketch, refurbished to keep the character and add the comforts. She departs 8:30am Thursdays and Saturdays with a maximum of 17 aboard, which is exactly the size where strangers stop being strangers. The two days and one night cover the icons, Whitehaven Beach, the Hill Inlet lookout, snorkelling the fringing reefs with wetsuits and gear included, but the boat brings her own extras: kayaks for every guest, so anchorages become playgrounds, and a freshwater jacuzzi for salt-free soaking between swims. Below deck it's fully air-conditioned with a comfortable saloon; above, the deck space is made for sunsets. All meals, snacks, linen and park fees are included; BYO drinks and a beach towel. Old boat, easy days, good company, that's the whole formula.

Sit back, relax, and enjoy the journey as we cruise through crystal-clear waters, taking in the incredible island scenery along the way. We’ll stop in the calm waters of Hook Passage for a delicious lunch, giving you time to unwind, enjoy the views, and get to know your fellow travellers. After lunch, our experienced guide will lead you on a scenic bushwalk to the famous Hill Inlet Lookout, where you’ll be rewarded with spectacular views of the swirling turquoise waters and brilliant white sands below — a true Whitsunday highlight. Once you’ve captured those unforgettable moments, it’s time to head down to the world-famous Whitehaven Beach. Relax on the soft sands, take a refreshing swim, or simply soak up the beauty of this incredible island paradise. As the afternoon winds down, climb back aboard and cruise towards our evening anchorage while enjoying tasty snacks, refreshing drinks, and a stunning sunset over the islands. Finish the day with a delicious BBQ dinner served on deck, followed by a fun photo slideshow showcasing the best moments from your day of adventure.
Day 2 – Explore, Relax & Create Unforgettable Memories Wake up surrounded by the beauty of the Whitsundays and enjoy a delicious breakfast on deck as the morning sun sparkles across the crystal-clear waters. Take a moment to relax and soak up the peaceful island atmosphere before the day’s adventures begin. Once you’re fuelled and ready, it’s time to dive into the wonders of the Great Barrier Reef. Jump in for an incredible snorkelling experience or glide across the water by kayak, discovering colourful coral gardens and the amazing marine life that calls this paradise home. Keep your eyes open for curious sea turtles, vibrant tropical fish, and graceful sea creatures moving through the reef. After exploring beneath the surface, return to the boat and enjoy a mouth-watering BBQ lunch while sharing stories from the morning’s adventures. As we make our way back to Airlie Beach, sit back, relax, and take in the spectacular island views one last time. It’s the perfect way to finish an unforgettable two-day escape through the Whitsundays.
