Summer Jo just came out of a one-million-dollar makeover, and it shows, she's the freshest boat working the Whitsundays' overnight routes, carrying 18 to 32 travellers through some of the most photographed water in Australia. Two days and two nights is the sweet spot for this region: enough time for the icons without rushing, with real evenings on the water when the day boats have all gone home and the islands go quiet. Snorkelling equipment is included for everyone, and diving gear is on hand if you opt into a dive. All meals are covered (gluten-free, vegan or dairy-free needs are handled separately, flag them when you book), plus linen, a bath towel, and a skipper and crew who know these waters cold. Marine Park fees are in the price too. Pack light, bring a dry sense of humour, and let the boat do the organising.
