Most Whitehaven day boats serve lunch onboard. Big Fury serves it on Whitehaven Beach itself, a fresh buffet on one of the world's top-ten beaches, which is the kind of detail kids remember at Christmas and adults mention for years. The boat is an open-air sports vessel running three 300hp outboards, fast, smooth, and diesel-fume-free, departing Coral Sea Marina at 10am and back by 5pm. The day's shape is generous: 2 to 2.5 full hours at Whitehaven's quieter southern end, the guided walk up to Hill Inlet Lookout for the swirling-sands panorama, and a snorkel stop at a fringing reef site (chosen by tide and weather) with the full kit provided, masks, fins, stinger suits, floatation, even a coral viewer for the littlest crew members. This is the family option: suitable from age 3 up, max 35 aboard, with afternoon cakes and courtesy bus transfers (book 24 hours ahead). Bring cash for cold drinks and towels for everyone.
