Overview

Some of the Whitsundays' best assets are only visible from the air. Heart Reef, the naturally heart-shaped coral formation that launched a million proposals, can't be visited by boat at all, and Hill Inlet's swirling sands only resolve into their full marbled glory from altitude. This 60-minute flight collects all of it. The route is the region's aerial greatest hits: the length of Whitehaven Beach's seven kilometres of silica, the tidal swirls of Hill Inlet, out across the Great Barrier Reef's blues, and the money shot over Heart Reef itself.
